Beagle Learning has been chosen as one of five top women-led innovation companies to participate in a program for female founders leading edtech and workforce solutions. By the end of the 24-hour program, Investment opportunities from Chloe Capital, ECMC Foundation and other investors will be announced. This experience for women entrepreneurs is part of a Movement to #InvestInWomen.

Respecting Covid-19 safety guidelines, our program originally taking place in Charlotte, N.C. has now been shifting online,” said Kathryn Cartini, Co-founder and Partner at Chloe Capital.

The Future of Work & Education will take place via Zoom on Tuesday, May 19 starting at 6:00 PM ET.
Beagle Learning was selected from hundreds of women-led companies that focus on creating solutions for postsecondary education: workforce development, college success and career readiness. Carolyn Bickers, Co-Founder and COO of Beagle Learning will present live online in front of investors and innovation leaders for her shot at up to $250,000 in investments from Chloe Capital and ECMC Foundation.

Beagle Learning helps students solve complex problems by training them to ask the right questions. They help instructors of types to use student-led learning methods by combining inquiry-based learning and artificial intelligence into plug-and-play exercises that fit any classroom.
Instructors use Beagle's AI-supported skill rubrics and online learning software to improve student thinking and drive better student learning outcomes. Instructors have seen improvements of student performance +18% and higher engagement +50% compared to courses without Beagle.
Supported by NSF, Techstars, and LearnLaunch, Beagle Learning is now partnering with ASU to launch the Technological Leadership Major to deliver our 21st-century skills training efficiently and effectively online.

According to Pitchbook, only two percent of women-led tech companies in the U.S. receive venture funding, while only .2 percent goes to African American female founders. Chloe Capital and ECMC Foundation aim to change this by moving capital to female founders.

In November 2017, Chloe Capital set out on a National Tour to invest in the most promising women-led innovation companies. Today, the New York-based VC firm is being recognized as a Movement that empowers approximately 13,000 founders, investors and innovation supporters.
